We are looking for a
Summer Trainee, HR
to join Normet´s HR team in Iisalmi, Finland on 5th of May – 31st of August 2025.
Our Human Resources Team in Finland is responsible for key people processes, such as recruitment, people development and well-being. We support Normet’s managers in daily employee related questions.
We are looking for a summer trainee to act as a substitute during our summer holidays. In this position, you will participate in a project to collect personnel education data, archive the people data and coordinate the onboarding process for our summer trainees. You will also assist in payroll-related tasks.

To shine in this position, we hope you have:

• ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree studies for example in Business and Administration / Human Resources / Adult Education, and are close to graduation
• an organized, systematic and accurate working style
• eagerness to take responsibility
• strong desire and interest to develop in the field of HR. We appreciate our previous experience in Human Resources.
• a customer service oriented, flexible and a liable working approach
• excellent interaction skills, and you communicate easily with people from different organizational levels
• Your communication skills in Finnish are on a native speaker’s level and you have good command of English.
