We are looking for a
Summer Trainee, ICT Support Officer
to join Normet’s IT Service Delivery team in Iisalmi, on 1st of May – 31st of August 2025 (negotiable).
The team is responsible for global Normet IT support, managing IT hardware and Business application support. Mission is to ensure that all IT-related needs are met efficiently and effectively. We are looking for a summer trainee to the ICT Support at Finland Iisalmi.
In this position, you will be supporting our end users with various IT matters related to hardware, network, or applications.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Acting as the first level of software and hardware support for business end users both on-site and remotely.
• Troubleshooting problems with computers, including hardware and software issues, email, printers, network, and peripheral equipment problems
• Management of user accounts and device installations for staff members
• Ensuring high service quality to our end-users

To shine in this position, we hope you have:
-

Vocational or bachelor’s degree’s student in Information Technology or equivalent field. Minimum 2 years of studies.

• Some previous work experience with IT systems
• Basic understanding of software installations and user role handling
• Experience to troubleshoot hardware and software related IT problems
• Basic understanding of ITIL foundation and IT security
• Good communication skills in Finnish and English
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive and eager to learn with positive ‘can-do’ and ‘hands-on’ attitude in a multicultural environment
