KONE Cybersecurity, within the wider KONE Technology & Innovation unit, is working on protecting the physical world – escalators and elevators – as well as their integration with smart and connected digital systems on the cloud.
We are now looking for a

SUMMER TRAINEE, IOT SECURITY

to work with KONE IoT Security team that is setting the Secure Development Lifecycle requirements for KONE onsite devices such as elevator and escalator controllers, gateways, etc.
You will be part of the team in Espoo or Hyvinkää, Finland with possibilities to work remotely few days per week.
We are looking for a student that is in the final stages of the studies. Preferably the studies have included cybersecurity courses with good grades and an ideal candidate also has some experience on embedded systems or SW development. We expect the candidate to work for around 4 months during 2024, based on availability and preference. There are also possibilities for thesis work and research collaboration with other Finnish organizations in a co-innovation project.

• Genuine interest in becoming a cybersecurity professional.
• Basic understanding of SW development and Secure Development Lifecycle process in R&D.
• Willingness to work with multiple global stakeholder teams.
