We're looking for a motivated IT summer trainee to develop a GenAI-powered chat solution that could transform how customers interact with Konecranes.com. We are looking for a Summer Trainee, IT who will be designing and building a prototype intelligent chatbot to replace our current live chat system. This is a unique opportunity to work with modern AI technologies and make a real impact on our digital customer experience. The position is based in Turku with the possibility to work also in Espoo or Hyvinkää and partially remotely. Your daily tasks will include: Designing and developing a GenAI chat prototype integrated with Konecranes.com Researching and evaluating different LLM frameworks and APIs suitable for customer service applications Creating a functional proof-of-concept demonstrating key features like product inquiries Implementing natural language processing to understand customer intent and provide relevant responses Integrating chat interface with existing web infrastructure Documenting technical architecture, implementation decisions, and recommendations for production deployment Presenting your prototype and findings to stakeholders at the end of the summer We Offer Hands-on experience with cutting-edge GenAI technology Mentorship from experienced IT professionals Opportunity to see your work potentially deployed to production Collaborative work environment at Konecranes Duration: 3-4 months during summer 2026 Why join Konecranes?
