We are seeking a motivated and proactive
Summer Trainee – Operations Development
to join our Operations Development team in Espoo, Finland. The Operations Development team ensures our New Building Solutions and Modernization operation s is developing to gain efficiency, speed and productivity . This is a full-time, fixed-term position lasting 4–6 months , starting in May 2025 .

In this role, you will assist in developing a Supervisor Upskilling Academy (SPV academy) within our operations d evelopment team. You’ll gain invaluable experience supporting the design and implementation of training programs to elevate supervisors’ competence and knowledge. You will learn to create comprehensive training modules, assist in facilitating engaging workshops, and assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives. This opportunity will enhance your understanding of leadership development, project management, and instructional design, preparing you for a successful career in operational excellence and talent development. Key Responsibilities and activities :
- Designing Training Programs: Support the creation of comprehensive learning path and training modules aimed at enhancing supervisors’ skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate Learning Initiatives: Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs
- Create m arketing material: C reating the narrative of the SPV academy C reate marketing material for SPV academy to attract participants
- Create l earning objectives : D escribe the learning objectives for each module by interviewing relevant subject matter experts
- S harePoint Design: C reate a structure for the SPV academy and support to build it in SharePoint
- Process development: C reate processes how to run the SPV academy in a sustainable way
- Development Follow-Up: Assist in the development and follow-up of Program execution and follow-up
- Proactive communication and collaboration: C ollaborate closely with global stakeholders to stay aligned with existing practices and ways of working e.g. Safety, Learning and Development, Communication s , Delivery Operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Educational Background: C urrently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is essential
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and well in a team and support colleagues across various departments.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Passion: Interested and enthusiastic to learn and deepen your knowledge about learning and competence development and operational excellence
- Project Management: Basic knowledge of project management principles and tools
- Change Management: U nderstanding of change management principles
- Cultural Awareness: Understanding and appreciating cultural differences in a global work environment.
