We are now looking for a

SUMMER TRAINEE, SYSTEM SIMULATIONS

to work with KONE System Simulation- team to support KONE products through physics-based simulations.
You will be part of System Simulation team in Hyvinkää, Finland. Work is done mainly in the office; remote option is partially available based on agreement.
We are looking for a student with ongoing studies in Applied Mechanics, Mechatronics or closely related fields, to work for 2-4 months between May and September 2025, based on availability and preference.

MECHATRONICS AND SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE:

Understanding of the integration between software, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Experience in designing and/or implementing mechatronic systems

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, refine, and enhance physics-based simulation models of elevator systems
  • Process, analyze, visualize, and document simulation results
  • Plan tests and analyze test data to validate simulation models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for input and feedback on simulation processes
