We are now looking for Summer Trainee, Hybrid Cloud Computing to join our IT head office in Tampere, Finland.

What you will do

  • Update and support the new HCC team site to improve our team communication
  • Support us by developing the capacity management process in cloud area
  • Refine the collaboration tools & process between HCC team, other UPM IT teams and our suppliers
  • Drive operational quality improvement (Request follow up, demand management cleanup, analysis of the main operational issues with HCC RUN)

Who you are

  • You are very motivated student having at least Bachelors degree in IT sciences or business studies (IT studies are an asset but not a must if you have advanced IT skills)
  • Your working styles shows great work ethics and autonomy
  • You have good social and interactive skills, you are able to comfortably deal with people coming from different cultures and horizons (Experience outside Finland like ERASMUS would be an asset)
  • You are passionate about new technologies, curious about IT and its transformation (Cloud, Automation, AI) but not only IT
  • You are not afraid to play with complex reports, huge volumes of data and several dimensions
  • You have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in English. Other language skills are seen as an asset
