We are now looking for Summer Trainee, Pulp Maritime Logistics to our head office, the Biofore House, in Helsinki or Pulp Supply Chain Center in Kymi mill, Kouvola.

What you will do

• Plan and execute of maritime logistics of Finnish Pulp mills to European and Far East markets in cooperation with Sales, Supply chain, contracted carriers and port operators
• Guarantee high logistics service level and customer satisfaction
• Ensure undisturbed transportation flows with contracted carriers
• Process transport orders in SAP Transportation Management system
• Verification of logistics invoices
• Cargo claim management together with carriers and UPM Cargo Care department

Who you are

We are looking finance students who have already advanced a bit in their studies. We appreciate a positive and energetic attitude, as well as taking initiative and responsibility. In addition:

• You have relevant education or work experience in the area of logistics / supply chain
• Experience in SAP or other transport management it-system and Power BI reporting tool is beneficial
• You have customer and service oriented mindset and flexibility
• You have independent and structured way of working, high level of proactivity and personal initiative
• You have excellent problem solving skills, strong determination
• You have very good team-working ability
• You have effective communication skills (spoken and written)
• You are fluent in English, other language skills are considered as an asset
