Join one of Australia’s premier open cut coal mining operations as the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, where you will play a fundamental role in the reliability and performance, of our Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
Reporting to the CHPP Manager, you will lead, develop and mentor a team of engineers, maintenance planners, supervisors, tradespeople and contractors in delivering and executing the maintenance strategy on site.
As CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, you will:
Oversee all aspects of CHPP mechanical and electrical maintenance, including shutdown planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and execute proactive maintenance plans to minimise downtime and extend plant life.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, planners and supervisors, promoting a strong safety culture and operational excellence.
Manage budgets, contractor performance, and long-term asset integrity strategies.
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to identify and deliver reliability improvements.
Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental obligations.
