Responsibilities
  • Develop Community Relation’s strategy, programs, best practices to meet company’s objectives, plan, goal, and growth.
  • Lead and implement community relations programs aligned with organizational goals. Contributing to positive external relationships with individuals, businesses, and community-based organizations that support the Company’s outreach efforts and its Community Policy.
  • Build trust-based relationships with community leaders and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement initiatives to strengthen social license.
  • Monitor and report on social performance compliance and community outcomes.
  • Align team activities with community needs and business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on social performance compliance and community outcomes.
  • Collaborate with regulators and partners to meet community commitments.
  • Develop and manage complaint mechanisms to address stakeholder complaints transparently.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and/or participate in community, government, and tribal meetings that may be relevant to or affect the Company’s business interests. This includes developing meeting presentation materials, taking minutes and tracking action items through to completion.
  • Support training programs designed to increase education and awareness of Centerra’s sustainability goals, objectives and commitments.
  • Develop proposals, scopes of work and RFP’s related the preparation of annual budgets for all Company sustainability activities in Goldfield.
  • Understand the Company’s sustainability commitments, especially those made to local government and Indigenous groups, which includes understanding all Impact Benefit Agreements, Environmental Assessment Social Conditions and/or any other formal agreements with external parties.
  • Represent the Company at special events and conferences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
