We are seeking a Superintendent in the grocery store sector. We are a leader in the construction industry where our clients mainly serve in the grocery space, and we also do refrigeration upgrades as well! Our projects mainly range from small projects up to a $1M. We are rapidly growing and continously strive to make our employees happy and pride ourselves in being an incredible workplace.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Superintendent for Grocery Stores will oversee the construction and renovation of grocery retail locations. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Superintendent will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and store stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes for our grocery store projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably with grocery or retail projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Experience working with major grocery retailers such as Whole Foods, Albertsons, Ralphs, Vons, Trader Joe’s, and others.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial construction practices and materials.
