Description:
* 15 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT *
Fortescue is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our fast-paced and dynamic team, supporting the Eliwana Operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and innovative work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in management accounting roles.
- Operational or site experience is highly desirable.
- Strong financial acumen with a comprehensive understanding of governance principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP, with additional experience in Anaplan considered an advantage.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to identify and understand key business drivers, delivering insights and opportunities across multiple business units.
- A degree in Finance, Commerce
- Professional accounting qualifications (CPA or CA required).
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the capability to communicate effectively across all levels of operations and senior management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive optimal performance.

Responsibilities:
- Finance Business Partner with the Eliwana Operations team to effectively support and manage financial performance.
- Lead the coordination and delivery of annual budgets and quarterly planning cycles, covering both operating and capital expenditures.
- Oversee the month-end process, identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and drive value-adding opportunities and business improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with senior leaders, providing critical financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial systems and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company accounting policies.
- Develop, mentor, and coach a team of management accountants, fostering professional growth and capability.
