JOB DESCRIPTION

Icon Structures is a growing general contractor for commercial construction providing pre-construction services, construction management, design build work and general contracting.
We are seeking a qualified Superintendent to join our team in the Eudora, KS location. We staff our projects correctly, our superintendents know how to build, and our leadership will allow you to truly be part of the organization (Your efforts will directly impact our success). Our Superintendents are involved in a range of construction services.

Responsibilities

ROLES

  • Help establish and maintain project schedule and field information in Procore
  • Supervise carpenters and laborers
  • Keep subcontractors on task
  • Maintain culture of site safety
  • Work with project manager to keep them informed

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and adhere to project contract and subcontractor documents
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive site logistics plan
  • Maintain and update project schedule
  • Establish the project specific Emergency Action Plan and review with safety specialist and all personnel onsite
  • Review and understand the Prime Contract as well as Subcontract Agreements, know when to leverage the contract
  • Maintain communication with project member and Icon personnel
  • Review submittals
  • Run meetings with subcontractors maintaining good records and ensure tasks are resolved, maintain and distribute meeting minutes
  • Participate in owner’s meetings
  • Maintain clear and concise Daily Log entries in Procore, document all pertinent events and conversations
  • Maintain a record of field Purchase Orders and submit appropriate documentation
  • Understand project plans and specifications
  • Ensure quality on site and maintain records of any non-conformance
  • Maintain clean job site
  • Manage handover to ensure all punch items are resolved and the owner is fully trained in understanding their bundling systems and maintenance.
  • Schedule Icon manpower for the project as needed (timely and accurately)
  • Assist with developing preliminary CPM schedule and site logistics for potential projects
