In this role, you’ll manage field operations with minimal oversight, typically overseeing up to $10 million in annual work, or supporting larger projects under a Superintendent II. You’ll be a hands-on leader in the field—driving safety, quality, schedule, and cost control—while mentoring Assistant Superintendents and helping develop the next generation of leaders. Lead and manage on-site construction activities with minimal assistance Oversee and coordinate field operations for projects totaling approximately $10 million annually, or support larger projects under Superintendent II Mentor and assist in developing Assistant Superintendents, with up to two direct reports Attend, participate in, and lead company meetings, subcontractor meetings, and Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings Schedule work activities, allocate resources, and monitor daily project progress Ensure all construction activities meet project specifications and quality standards Implement and enforce all safety protocols to maintain a safe jobsite Follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, and company safety policies and procedures Review project schedules and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, supplies, and other project expenses Monitor project budgets and maintain effective cost control Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers Collaborate closely with clients, Project Managers, and other construction professionals on budgets, schedules, and execution strategies Apply efficient, cost-effective management techniques to support project success Perform other duties as assigned This role is ideal for a confident field leader who values craftsmanship, safety, mentorship, and building projects—and careers—with pride. Qualifications B.A. in Construction Management or related field Over 5 years’ experience in construction management Fit to Work / OSHA 30 certification Active involvement in community organization 8 hours of continuing education annually ABILITY TO TRAVEL, COMMUTE/RELOCATE: Must be able to travel locally within a reasonable distance from the main office and with reasonable notice from management.
