Description
At RO, we're not just building Data Centers; we're powering the future with facilities ranging from 4.5 to 50 megawatts. As one of Texas's foremost Data Center builders, we take pride in pushing the boundaries of what's possible in construction. Our mission critical superintendent is a field leader who oversees construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. We live and breathe our vision and values daily. Although all six of our values are important and continue to shape RO’s outcome, as part of our operations department, you will be a huge proponent in ‘Finding a Better Way’. The RO family is known to be innovative and push boundaries. What does this mean for you as a mission-critical (Data Center) Superintendent? Although it will be your responsibility to build these intricate facilities alongside the Mission Critical Project Manager (from the conceptual plan, schedule, and staffing plans through completion), you will be the main supervisor for all field operations on site. This role requires travel frequently within Texas. In this important and demanding role, both you and the Project Manager will ensure that all team members – including our trade partners, clients, architects, and other stakeholders – are kept up to date with consistent communication. As you can likely tell, no day will be the same. There will be similarities, but some of your responsibilities include: * Supervise all field operations for the project.  * Coordinate with PM in early identification of problem areas that affect project quality. * Establish subcontractor performance schedules.  * Inspect the site and check for OSHA violations and unsafe practices and conditions. * Conduct Toolbox Talks with all employees. * This role requires the ability and willingness to travel to project sites across Texas, including extended assignments that may last several weeks or months depending on project needs. If you have 5+ years’ experience in the Commercial Construction space with a focus on mission critical coordination/data center construction and fit out, come join the team!  Rogers-O’Brien is family-owned, with the third generation leading the company’s operations. Our employees come from all walks of life. We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes our company stronger!
