ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent Re-Rail to join our team in the Pilbara, Western Australia. The successful candidate will lead and manage the Re-Rail and Verse testing based out of Dampier and Tom Price.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of re-rail, destress and verse testing in our extensive rail network. Your demonstrated ability to engage, connect and positively influence key stakeholders at all organisational levels will play a critical part to the effectiveness in this role.

Reporting to the Manager of Rail Network Maintenance, and working within a dynamic environment your key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading a highly skilled team of 9 direct reports, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
  • Oversee the re-rail, destress and verse testing program on the rail network, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage the Opex and Capex budgets for track maintenance activities, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or quality.
  • Implement and maintain effective safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Coaching and developing the team to build individuals capabilities and competence.
