Overview Shimmick is seeking a highly talented Superintendent to be based out of Modesto, CA. As a Superintendent at Shimmick, you’ll lead the planning, design, coordination, and execution of all activities related to the installation, construction, repair, and maintenance of project infrastructure. You will be responsible for accurately forecasting project costs and proactively identifying and managing changes to scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery. Responsibilities Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Accountable and overall responsibility for on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. Leads, directs and manages the entire direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project. Primary Liaison with client for day to day activities and long term operations. Communicates and directs through other superintendents changes or modification of jobsite activities within assigned area of operations. Accountable for compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Primary interface and engagement with Project Executive and manager group to coordinate efforts. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma/GED + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. 5+ years of Heavy Civil project experience. Valid Drivers license Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of Heavy Construction field experience. Heavy Civil project expereince specific to Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects. The salary range for this position is between $155,000-$205,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
