1004 Gourmet is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Supermarket Manager to lead the daily operations of our Dubai retail branch. This role requires strong leadership, retail management experience, and the ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth store operations, manage the team, control inventory, and drive sales performance in line with company objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail or supermarket management, ideally within the FMCG or F&B sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the supermarket, ensuring efficient, smooth, and profitable operations.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the in-store team, including department supervisors, cashiers, and stock staff.
  • Monitor and maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Develop strategies to maximize sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Implement promotions and pricing strategies in collaboration with the marketing and procurement teams.
  • Track stock levels, coordinate with procurement for replenishment, and oversee inventory control processes to reduce wastage and shrinkage.
  • Ensure proper scheduling, staff attendance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring a superior shopping experience.
  • Analyze sales reports and operational KPIs; prepare regular reports for management.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures, POS operations, and end-of-day reconciliations are executed accurately.
