JOB OVERVIEW

Insight Behavioural Health Inc. is currently looking for individuals who love to play, have fun, and are passionate about supporting autistic children and their families. In this role, successful candidates will conduct home and community-based ABA Therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental exceptionalities under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA).
You will receive on the job training.
This job requires driving to the client’s home or school.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree/Diploma in Behavioural Sciences is preferred OR
  • Degree in Social Service Work, Child and Youth Work, Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education or Assistance, or related field.
  • Experience working with and implementing ABA teaching strategies with autistic children and learning needs (minimum 1 year).
  • Availability to work during the day, evenings, and optional weekends.
  • Valid Driver’s license and vehicle for traveling to client’s homes.
  • Vulnerable sector check clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Implement client-specific ABA programming and teaching procedures in a one-on-one setting as directed by the Clinical Supervisor/Registered Behaviour Analyst.
  • Record and input/graph data accurately and monitor the client’s progress.
  • Document the child’s progress through detailed notes.
  • Work collaboratively with the client’s Clinical Success Manager.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and other team members.
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings and training conferences as required.
  • Develop and create therapy materials as needed to support individual programs.
  • Assist in conducting assessments using ABLLS, AFLS, VB-MAPP, and other relevant tools under the supervision of an RBA.
