JOB DESCRIPTION

The Hullabaloo delivers in-centre and community-based ABA therapy services to children with developmental disabilities. Based on the principles of applied behaviour analysis, a Registered Behaviour Analyst will create a behaviour plan in consultation with families to outline treatment goals. Under ongoing supervision, it is the role of the Supervised Instructor Therapist to provide the day-to-day treatment to help the clients achieve their goals and meet their full potential.
We are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Supervised Instructor Therapist to join our team. We currently offer part-time hours with the possibility of transitioning to full-time hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or degree in behavioural science or a related field or working towards such is preferred
  • 6 months experience delivering ABA treatment OR supporting children with developmental disabilities including autism
  • Proven record keeping such as data collection and notes
  • Vulnerable sector check completed within the last year
  • A valid G2 or G class driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
Responsibilities
  • Providing community-based ABA therapy in a 1:1 and small group format according to the behaviour plan created by the Registered Behaviour Analyst.
  • Assess skills according to various skill assessments including, but not limited to, Social Skills Assessment, ABLLS-R, ESDM, AFLS, etc.
  • Creating program materials/stimuli and maintaining a neat and orderly ReThink profile for primary clients.
  • Collecting data on a day-to-day basis and sharing progress or barriers with the Registered Behaviour Analyst as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings as applicable.
  • Perform other duties as required.
