Job Description: As a Therapist at our organization, you will deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions/centre/ client’s homes or in the community under the supervision of a RBA

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision of one-on-one instruction for 10% of the learner’s hours per week
• Develop programming for each learner incorporating the ABLLS-R, PEAK, and other assessment tools.
• Direct Instruction,
• Train instructor therapists as required
• Liaise with parents and third parties as needed
• Complete ongoing progress reports and six months reviews of learner’s programming
• Participate in meetings
• Participate in team meetings as required
• Assist with learners who display aggression or self-injurious behaviour using the least restrictive method approved by the Supervising Senior Therapist

Under the guidance of the Supervising Senior Therapist:

• Conduct behaviour interventions for individuals who engage in dangerous challenging behaviour
• Write up full assessment reports
• Demonstrate the ability to make functional decisions regarding program progression
• Interpret and analyze data to implement future programming
• Evaluate staff performance during live observations and/or video recordings
• reliable car / able to drive

Education/Experience:

• University Degree in Behavioural Sciences, Psychology or related field
• Experience as an instructor therapist implementing ABA/IBI programme for a minimum of 3 to 5 years
