QUALIFICATIONS ET EXPÉRIENCE :

• Connaissance approfondie des processus de construction.

• Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience avec un historique de réussite dans un poste de superviseur ou de contremaître dans l’industrie de la restauration/urgence (ou secteur similaire), avec jusqu’à 25 rapports directs.
• Compréhension détaillée des pratiques de reconstruction pour les propriétés ayant subi des dommages causés par l’eau, le vent, la moisissure, le feu ou le vandalisme.
• Connaissance des codes du bâtiment, ainsi que des codes électriques, de plomberie ou de mécanique.
• Connaissance des lois et ordonnances régissant la construction des bâtiments.
• Excellentes compétences en communication, à l’écrit comme à l’oral.
• Compétences informatiques requises pour utiliser efficacement Word, Excel et Outlook. La connaissance d’Xactimate est essentielle.
• Compétences en comptabilité, compréhension de base de la facturation, de la facturation et des compétences en mathématiques générales.
• Capacité à travailler en équipe et engagement démontré envers l’excellence du service client.
• Les activités professionnelles peuvent inclure du travail physique, la manutention de matériaux et le levage, l’escalade d’échelles, le port d’un respirateur et le travail dans des espaces confinés (grenier, sous-sol et vides sanitaires).

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Site Supervisor will coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information and will keep the construction staff, and projects construction is working on and all related processes running smoothly. The Site Supervisor takes direction from the Construction Operations Manager and works toward optimizing Staff efficiency and completing projects within First Onsite acceptable levels. Focus on ensuring that the goals and needs of the Construction Department and First Onsite are being met and exceeded.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• High level of Construction process knowledge
• Project scheduling knowledge
• Minimum 3 years experience with proven track record in construction Supervisor / foreman position with up to 25 reports, within the restoration/emergency (or a related) industry
• Detailed understanding of reconstruction practices for property that has suffered water, wind, mould, fire and vandalism damages
• Knowledge of building codes and electrical, or plumbing, or mechanical and related codes.
• Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer skills required effectively use Word, Excel, and Outlook. Xactimate Knowledge Essential.
• Accounting skills basic understanding of invoicing, billing and general math skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
• Work activities may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)

• Reviews, schedules and oversees all In house Work from Project Managers.
• Maintains a high level of Quality and Efficiency throughout the project i.e.
• Ensures Demo Meets First Onsite Quality Standards
• Produces Comprehensive Materials List for Repairs
• Reviews and provides Revisions to Scope before work commences if required
• Provides immediate direction and assistance to onsite crews
• Meets scheduled completion timetables
• Updates all parties involved on work progress and/or informing same of changes/additions to original work order or repair specifications.
• Build, lead and deploy the best quality team to achieving the objectives of our corporate strategic plan.
• Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed for all First Onsite personnel and sub-contractors, including all branch personnel are up to date with all health and safety procedures and training and participates/conducts tail gate meetings relating to health and safety and work procedures when on site.
• Maintains detailed project schedules which include administrative tasks for multiple sites.
• Monitors Staff efficiency and effectiveness daily, review and authorise time sheets
• Inspect progress and work quality during and post repairs assuring all Scope requirements are met; reports outcomes to the COM
