Metro is hiring a motivated and passionate Per Diem Supervising Physical Therapist to oversee care provided by PTAs in the Center Moriches area. The PT's primary responsibility will be to perform initial evaluations, progress notes, and required supervisory visits for PTAs. This is a high-need area with an immediate need for PTA supervision coverage. There is also the option to take on ongoing treatment visits in addition to the supervisory role, depending on your availability and interest. This is a flexible per-diem position, with competitive per-visit rates for both evaluations and supervisory visits. Rates: $75-$90/ visit What We Offer? Develop a plan of care/goals in consultation with the physician, family and patient. Timely and accurate documentation of visit Effectively communicating discharge with family members and other team members Qualifications: Physical Therapist Program Graduate. NY Physicall Therapist License or eligible. Evaluates a patient's need for physical therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan. Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care. Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
