Description
  This role requires bilingual fluency, both written and spoken. Position Overview:  The Supervising Residential Aid is responsible for assuring the general welfare and safety of the families and children residing within the site by making rounds throughout the building and engaging with families. The Supervising Residential Aid will communicate with the security team and Director if an issue or concern arises. The Supervising Residential Aid is expected to accompany the case manager during room inspections if needed. The Supervising Residential Aid will monitor common areas to ensure proper usage. In addition, the Supervising Residential Aid will conduct intakes during evenings, overnights, and weekends as needed. The Supervising Residential Aid will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring residential aids during their shift. Position Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s degree preferred. 2 year’s experience in shelter or residential setting. Experience with CARES preferred. Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Food Protection Certificate will be required during first few weeks of hire. Driver’s License preferred.
