CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT, PART-TIME

We are looking for a passionate, agile, dynamic, creative and inspiring qualified Supervising Social Worker to join our Fostering Services team.
This is a dynamic frontline service that works closely with our partners to build relationships and work more collaboratively with families, children and young People. This is fast-paced exciting social work role that focuses on children and families, developing longer-term relationships and supporting them to bring about change.
You’ll perform the full range of social work duties in relation to statutory Family Placement work in accordance with the National Minimum Standards for Fostering Services and Fostering Services Regulations, Promoting the best interests of children and young people at all times.
We work in a supportive learning culture that includes regular reflective practice and motivational interviewing.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced social worker with strong communications skills, both verbally and in written correspondence. You’ll be able to build effective relationships with children and families, staff, public and other professionals.
You’ll have the ability to work to strict deadlines and manage crisis intervention, adhering to health and safety policies.
You’ll have demonstrable ability to maintain high quality records, write clear and concise reports and correspondence dealing with complex issues.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll have the opportunity to develop your existing knowledge of legislation national guidance and best practice, including statutory responsibilities relating to Children and Family Services.
We do ask that you have Dip SW, CQSW or recognised equivalent, substantial professional social work qualification and registered by the Social Work England.
