Responsibilities

ROLE: SUPERVISING SOCIAL WORKER

Location: West Yorkshire (Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield)
Salary: £45,000
Full-time | Permanent | Full Time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm | Hybrid

THE ROLE

The Supervising Social Worker builds positive relationships between Fostering agency, the Foster Parent and the child’s Social Worker. It is a key role that helps the Foster Parent to sustain the child in placement and ensure outcomes for children are being met within the foster family. Crucial to successful outcomes for children are positive working relationships between all the professionals around the child, and the Supervising Social Worker role is a combination of monitoring and safeguarding on behalf of the children and being there for the family. This is a therapeutic organisation and, ideally, applicants should have experience working in a therapeutic independent service or be curious about therapeutic fostering and willing to learn.
This role will be pivotal to our development in West Yorkshire. This is a development role with the successful candidate having demonstrable experience in successfully growing a region.
