Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities 1. Manufacturing supervising Daily review production schedule and react to production problems in real time to ensure timely delivery of the products, and production output meet target. Daily review production schedule with planer to minimize WIP and implement JIT. Do cost reduction by efficient material usage, setup change, training and human error, power and facility saving. Manage & control tool to make sure enough for production and right store & maintenance condition. Arrange manpower, equipment or another source to minimize production lead-time and parts delivered as promised time and on time. Ensure production factory supplies are ordered on time for manufacturing needs and factory supply, tool expense cost rate is with budget. Work with Sr Engineer to propose headcount by production volume, then work with HR for operators interview and hiring. Support trainer to review schedule and define training need for on job training, quality, EHS training or another. Check and provide corrective action for work order variance, floor stock adjustment if they do not meet target. 2. Quality Control Check and ensure that the operators follow procedures during operation for each workstation. Check ensures that parts within spec before delivery to next process step or shipment. Provide corrective action if escaping ppm to assembly is higher than target To control process as ISO requirements and make action taken for ISO, TS, customer audit. Daily control yield to meet targets and check Nonconformance Pareto to provide proper corrective action. Make sure that SPC is using efficient and corrective action on control chart is implemented properly. Work with process engineer to analysis and reduce increase yield and reduce rework rate. 3. Human resource, Manufacturing Development & Improvement Weekly review production schedule to make plan for overtime working and working overtime compliant with laws. Human performance control and recognition, support line for operators’ performance appraisal Review training matrix and production forecast to request cross training for flexible production capacity. 4. Report & documentation Develop & maintenance database and management system to support quality, performance appraisal and shop floor control. Daily production report status to Sr Engineer. Provide action take if production does not meet target or WO cannot close as promised. 5. Other Daily check safety requirements to make sure the operator wear PPEs as procedure requirement’s during operation process. To make sure Ventilation and dust collecting system is working properly and waste disposition is correct process. Train, maintain 5S at production floor and join 5S audit if requested. Support special projects as required. Education & Experience 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering/ Industrial Management or another engineering field with Industrial Management experience. 2. Experience. 0+ years applicable experience in manufacturing setting in relation to diagnostic of production problems. 1 year of relevant work experience (including internship) is a plus. Understanding technical drawing and basic chemical engineering principals to manufacture parts in high volume setting. Skills Experience in process improvement, trouble shooting and equipment management is a plus. Ability to anticipate and handle multiple priorities and complex/abstract issues involving external and internal priorities under time constraints. Handle special assignments promptly and professionally. Ability to lead and motivate people as well as training of operators is an advantage. Ability to deal effectively with differences of opinion, to influence, to draw ideas from others, and to negotiate and mediate Total Quality management knowledge is a plus. Open communication and problem-solving skills. Flexibility working times. Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, Power PI, internet access, SPC software knowledge is a plus. Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross-cultural, global team environment Good command of interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency. Working Conditions Exposure to some chemicals and machine oils. Works in manufacturing environment.
