Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the daily operations of a small team of forklift operators within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities, a commitment to operational excellence, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to motivate, train, and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity, ensuring that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. Requirements Responsibilities: Supervise and direct forklift operators to meet daily operational targets. Safely operate a forklift to move and stack lightweight cans and materials as needed. Monitor and enforce safety protocols and compliance with company standards. Conduct daily inspections of equipment and oversee team adherence to maintenance schedules. Assist with general warehouse tasks and ensure workflow efficiency. Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to forklift operators. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of inventory and task completion. Ensure trailers and equipment are safe to enter before loading. Complete correct shipping documentation and system transitions to ensure proper shipment and inventory accuracy Ensure prompt communication with clients, drivers, and guests Must Have: Minimum of 3 years team lead or supervisory experience Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience Proficiency in inventory management systems or willingness to learn. Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required. Physical ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly and work in varying temperature conditions..
