YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum of 1 year of Supervisory experience working in a licensed child care setting
  • Current knowledge and understanding of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)
  • Thorough knowledge of How Does Learning Happen?
  • Experience working with children in a child care setting
  • Record of up to date Immunization (TB Test, Tetanus, Polio, MMR)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination is required for all employees, with proof of vaccination.

We are looking for a Child Care Supervisor to join our team! WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide Leadership to the childcare team.
  • Supervise, guide and assist staff in daily activities.
  • Oversee the daily operation of the child care site.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the Ministry of Education’s “How Does Learning Happen?” pedagogy for Early Years.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff and community partners.
  • Adhere to Today’s Family’s policies and procedures and the College of ECEs Code of Ethics and Professional Practices to ensure the highest quality of interactions, relationships, and engagement with children and families.
  • Work collaboratively with all staff.
  • Ensure a strong commitment to leading and caring with an intent for Equity, respect for Diversity, demand for Inclusion, and facilitation of Belonging that every family deserves.
