We thrive on the challenge of getting the seemingly impossible done and doing it safely. THE POSITION * Simpson Barracks * Part Time role 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible with start/finish time * No weekends or public holidays * Specifically responsible for overseeing cleaning and accommodation services * Free Onsite Parking * Working autonomously on different responsibilities THE PERSON The preferred applicant will be required to achieve a Defence Baseline Security Clearance and pass an Australian Federal Police check prior to confirmation of employment * Hold full Australian Citizenship due to the secure nature of the site * Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transportation to get to the base * Knowledge and experience of Public Private Partnerships (PPP), hotel chain style operational management or Defence Garrison Support Services would be highly advantageous * Experience in a similar position as a cleaner or housekeeper * Chemical handling experience is advantageous * Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work is essential * Be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills * An intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office suite is essential. * Participate in an after-hours On Call roster * A positive and friendly attitude THE BENEFITS * Paid parental leave * Multiple salary packaging options to make your dollar go further * Easy access to 100+ retail discounts * Opportunity to learn new skills and move to different internal roles * Above award wages * A chance to join an ecologically and socially forward operation We are committed to providing a recruitment process that is fair, equitable and accessible for all.
