Business Unit: Finance Department: Accounting Services Division: DIV Corp Accounting and Reporting Work Location: Torrance - Main Campus Location Shift: 1st Workstyle: Remote Eligible up to 20% Career Level: 4 Job Grade: Exempt-3 Salary Range: $83,000.00 - $124,500.00 Job Purpose Support the accounting and financial reporting activities (including monthly/quarterly/annual financial/SOX audits) of AHM Corporate Segment in accordance with IFRS/US GAAP/SOX as well as collaborating with North American Honda subsidiaries for general & administrative expenses & processes. Coordination of BOFC reporting & deliverables across department. Key Accountabilities Prepare AHM financial reporting close journal entries, account analyses, and related deliverables for Corporate Segment with main focus on general and administrative expenses/processes, including investments. Provide review support to Assistant Manager over various areas aforementioned Support AHM quarterly/annual audit (including SOX compliance) including coordination/oversight of timely submission of deliverables Collaborate with business to gain and expand understanding over Corporate Segment area, connecting current/future reporting requirements by meeting with appropriate business unit(s). Support Assistant Manager in gathering and continuing to collaborate with other business unit(s) in preparation for quarterly reporting Identify and implement process improvements and complete various ad-hoc projects Prepare or provide review support to Assistant Manager as assigned over monthly/quarterly account reconciliations, Non-GAAP analyses, including analyzing fluctuations in correlation with company operations/program changes, if any. Provide oversight/coordination of timely monthly/quarterly reporting close, including BOFC submission to HM across AHM solo financial reporting Prioritization of activity, training, and mentorship/leadership for 2 associates Qualifications, Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field Minimum Experience Six plus years in accounting/finance Experience in multi-national company a plus Good communication skills (verbal/written) Proficiency in Microsoft applications (excel, ppt Sap knowledge is a plus CPA preferred What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
