Responsibilities

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

This role will see you managing and maximising the day-to-day operations of crews whilst managing the large-scale vegetation clearance programs of our clients. These projects are complex, involve industrial scale machinery and as such the highest commitment to safety, delivery and environmental/quality standards must be adhered to. You will be well supported by a strong, professional and experienced team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Demonstrating strong and visible supervisor skills through your behaviours, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ensuring compliance of safe work practices, policies and procedures across your crews.
  • Conducting workplace inspections of all relevant work areas.
  • Supporting the Operations Manager to formulate, review and monitor work program for each section of work to be completed.
  • Providing effective communication, information flows, procedures and records necessary to facilitate delivery of contract and quality requirements.
  • Implementation and utilisation of fleet to deliver on the plan.
  • Supporting the team to achieve delivery and productivity requirements.
  • Liaising with other departments to meet overall business objectives.
  • Ensuring adherence to environmental and quality requirements.
Your success here will be defined by the energy you bring to work every day. You’ll love what you do and you’ll have a “We Make It Happen” approach. When you see a challenge, you own it and look for solutions knowing you’ve got the full trust and support of the team. Experience in a “projects” environment would be advantageous but not essential.
