Now Hiring: Milieu Supervisor | Unit Supervisor Location: The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services | Reading, PA 19606 Pay: $23.00 per hour Shifts: 2nd Shift ONLY ! Job Type: Full-Time The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services is seeking a Bachelor's level Milieu Supervisor to work within our new Residential Enhanced Level of Care Program, an 8-bed program for male adolescents ages 12 to 18 years old. Must have flexible schedule, be available to work all shifts as needed and at least 2 weekends per month. Strong supervisory skills in residential programming are highly preferred. Position Requirements: * Valid Driver's License and clean driving record. (highly preferred) * Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or any Human Services field. (highly preferred) * Associate's degree with at least 1 year experience working with youth. (may be considered) * Must past all pre-employment physical & drug screening include background clearances (Child, Criminal, FBI, and DMV) * Ability to demonstrate basic oral, written, and verbal communication. * Must attend all required trainings followed by shadowing prior to working on the unit. * Ability to work effectively among various levels of behaviors and maintain an atmosphere of safety, support, and guidance to ensure a positive environment. Responsibilities

The supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the unit, which includes supervising staff, managing daily scheduling, organizing structured activities, and adhering to all established policies and procedures. This role also requires active participation in the weekend supervisory rotation and being visible on the unit to provide direct support to both staff and clients.
