What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking our next Restaurant Supervisor, who’s as passionate about wine and great service as we are! You will play a key role in the daily operations of our venue, ensuring each shift runs smoothly and every guest leaves smiling (and maybe with a new favourite wine!). You’ll be supporting a small team that champions innovation, creativity, and a passion for delivering warm, consistent, and memorable experiences in a venue where everyone knows your name—or at least your wine recommendation!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide knowledgeable and personable service, offering warm and genuine hospitality
  • Support a passionate small team, encouraging professional development through regular training
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures, including food, beverage, and service training documents
  • Work alongside our sommelier to maintain and grow an exciting and diverse wine list, including a regularly changing wine by the glass selection
  • Be an integral part of the venue’s growth and development
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive in-house private events, wine dinners, and community-driven experiences
  • Assist in ensuring operational and financial procedures are completed accurately, including staff rostering, cash handling, daily reporting, guest enquiries, and special requests

Key Selection Criteria

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • WSET level 2 or CMS Certified Sommelier training is preferred, but not compulsory
  • Bartending and cocktail knowledge is preferred, but not compulsory
  • Impeccable personal presentation
  • Strong work ethics, leadership, time management and communication skills
  • Passionate about enhancing guest experiences through their knowledge of food, wine and service
