Role: Supervisor / Barista
Salary: £13.00 - £13.50 + BONUS
We are an independent family-owned restaurant based in Sketty, Swansea that has been open for 7.5 years. There are lots of opportunities within our business to grow with us!
Were are looking for an experienced individual to take on a Supervisory role (ideally also a skilled Barista) to assist one of the Co-owners of the business with the operational side of things. Applicants should be enthusiastic, positive and confident to work in a fast-paced environment. We provide delicious and creative food and speciality coffee and tea, as well as craft wine & beer, so a keen interest in all areas would be ideal.

Experience:

• Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
• Supervising : 2 years (required

• Gaining new external catering customers via email and phone calling (training given)
• Train and mentor new staff members, providing guidance on proper food handling and service techniques
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for food and beverage supplies as needed
• Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Address customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of bartending or coffee preparation is a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
