We are seeking a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Bartender/Barista to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for crafting specialty coffee beverages and preparing alcoholic drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You should be passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests while demonstrating expertise in both coffee-making and bartending.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a bartender, barista, or in a customer service role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and brewing methods.
  • Experience with cocktail preparation and bartending techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional certifications such as bartending certification or food handling).
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

BARTENDER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to the menu and customer preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state alcohol laws and regulations.
  • Interact with customers to provide an exceptional drinking experience, offering recommendations when needed.
  • Process customer payments, including cash, credit, and digital transactions.
  • Stock and replenish bar inventory, ensuring that all supplies are readily available.
  • Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol consumption.
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown when required.

BARISTA RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and serve coffee from a MANUAL MACHINE, espresso drinks, and other beverages with precision and attention to detail.
  • Operate coffee-making equipment and maintain its cleanliness and functionality.
  • Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all customers by providing excellent service.
  • Educate customers about the coffee menu, including different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and specialty drinks.
  • Handle customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the coffee preparation area and ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Manage customer payments, including cash, credit, and digital methods.
  • Replenish coffee beans, milk, and other supplies to ensure smooth operation.
