Our reconstruction and insolvency team is currently recruiting a highly skilled ‘hands on’ Supervisor who can also mentor and assist with the supervision of junior accountants.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The right candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary degree
  • CA qualification (or close to completion)
  • 3+ years’ experience in corporate insolvency experience
  • Excellent report writing and Excel skills
  • Superior verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and project management skills
  • Great analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Proven experience in undertaking and interpreting complex financial analysis and drafting detailed reports to all stakeholders

Responsibilities:

This role will require you to have the necessary experience and expertise to actively manage accounting assignments involving:

  • Financial reviews
  • Transactional reviews and tracing
  • Solvency reviews
  • Court liquidations, voluntary administrations, creditors’ voluntary liquidations, deeds of company arrangement and receiverships

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • All types of corporate restructuring and insolvency appointments, including a focus on financial services, property and retail operations in the mid-market
  • Working closely with senior management and responsible for supervising/managing aspects of an engagement – ideally, you will have the proven ability to manage engagements autonomously
  • Mentoring and assisting with the supervision of junior staff
