Our reconstruction and insolvency team is currently recruiting a highly skilled ‘hands on’ Supervisor who can also mentor and assist with the supervision of junior accountants.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The right candidate will possess:
- Tertiary degree
- CA qualification (or close to completion)
- 3+ years’ experience in corporate insolvency experience
- Excellent report writing and Excel skills
- Superior verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management and project management skills
- Great analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation
- Proven experience in undertaking and interpreting complex financial analysis and drafting detailed reports to all stakeholders

Responsibilities:
This role will require you to have the necessary experience and expertise to actively manage accounting assignments involving:
- Financial reviews
- Transactional reviews and tracing
- Solvency reviews
- Court liquidations, voluntary administrations, creditors’ voluntary liquidations, deeds of company arrangement and receiverships
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- All types of corporate restructuring and insolvency appointments, including a focus on financial services, property and retail operations in the mid-market
- Working closely with senior management and responsible for supervising/managing aspects of an engagement – ideally, you will have the proven ability to manage engagements autonomously
- Mentoring and assisting with the supervision of junior staff
