Whether managing complex supply chains or providing streamlined warehousing solutions, our goal is to deliver consistent value to our clients and contribute to their success.    Role Description:     The Supervisor will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations Role Description: The Supervisor will collaborate with the Site Manager Customer to provide reliable and courteous service, with safety as a top priority. The Supervisors objectives include overseeing and monitoring the daily activities of check-in clerks at the site, acting as a leader, assisting with tasks as requested by the Customer, providing a communication link between customers and employees, leading by example, and maintaining reports and customer records.    Key Responsibilities:     • Serves as the immediate leader for clerks, providing direction and advice regarding operational problems, resolving complaints, and coaching staff for performance improvement.  • Uses a customer-focused model for supervision and communications.  • Consults with the Director of Operations on issues such as attendance, performance, and safety.  • Ensures that all accidents/injuries are immediately reported to the Director of Operations.  • Serves as the primary contact for other clerks and drivers in emergencies.  • Ensures all clerks and drivers promptly understand policies or other information obtained from the customer or transportation company.  • Maintains a positive attitude/image towards customers and employees.  • Performs related duties as assigned.   Qualifications:     • Dependability.  • Ability to inspect and check in equipment.  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate and use customer-based systems.  • Ability to generate necessary reports.  • Leadership skills and the ability to lead by example and guide others.  • Ability to recognize and address safety and operational issues.  • Considerable knowledge of the company's and the customer's policies and operational procedures.  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.  •Ability to develop effective working relationships with the customer's employees. Skills and Qualifications Required * Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or yard management. * Familiarity with trailer inspection procedures and spotting operations. * Understanding of safety regulations and PPE requirements. * Ability to use electronic inventory systems and generate reports. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure. * Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, inventory software). * Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform hands-on tasks. * Commitment to enforcing safety and compliance standards. * Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational needs.   PPE Requirements * Steel-toe boots required   Schedule: Monday-Friday: 6:30am to 4:30pm   Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
