Job Title Supervisor Carpenter/ Builder Job Description Summary You will lead and supervise a team of carpenters and building maintenance staff, coordinating daily activities while also being on the tools and leading by example, ensuring all carpentry and building works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard to maintain our clients’ facilities. Job Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, supervise, and support a team of carpenters and building maintenance staff, providing clear direction and hands-on leadership on site Coordinate daily workloads, labour allocation, and job priorities to ensure efficient service delivery Workload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance, minor project work, and assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works Actively work on the tools as required, leading by example and maintaining high workmanship standards Liaise with clients on site, ensuring works are completed to scope, timeframes, and client expectations Ensure all works are completed in accordance with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE Building trade qualified (LBP – where applicable), with a strong carpentry background Previous experience supervising or leading carpentry teams in a commercial environment is highly desirable Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable Proven experience dealing directly with clients on site in a professional manner Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, Health & Safety in a commercial environment Excellent written and spoken English Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet/iPad for job dispatch, reporting, and communication WHAT CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD OFFER C&W offer an above-average remuneration package which includes: Guaranteed 44 hours per week Free Life and Income Replacement Insurance Discounted Medical Cover Access to Marram Trust holiday and medical programs Mobile technology (smartphone and tablet) for work dispatch Initial and ongoing training programs designed to keep you upskilled, safe, and supported HEALTH & SAFETY & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS Health & Safety is a priority for Cushman & Wakefield, and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership in H&S behaviours, ensuring compliance across their team in a commercial environment.
