POSITION SUMMARY

Perform supervisory duties and coordinate daily activities in the Cath Lab Department. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure excellent patient care. Supervise the Cath Lab Quality Assurance programs. Monitor operations and quality standards to assure compliance with governmental regulations and meet standards established by accrediting agencies. Coordinate the inventory and billing processes. Provide oversight and supervision of the Cath Lab operations, including supervision of scheduling of patients, follow up and pre-patient work up processes. REQUIRED SKILLS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Education:
Previous physics course work preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
Registered radiographer (ARRT-R) in good standing required.
Active license required in radiography from the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.
Maintain CPR Certification.
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience as a radiology technologist in the Cath Lab with documented skill advancement in the workplace.
