Join Our Team at UPMC Community Osteopathic! UPMC Community Osteopathic is hiring a full-time Central Sterile Processing Supervisor for the evening shift (2:30 PM–11 PM). In this leadership role, you’ll oversee a team and manage all daily sterile processing operations, including instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilization, case picking, and equipment cleaning. You’ll ensure safe, efficient workflows and serve as a key resource for staff and clinical teams. Earn up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus when you join our team. Responsibilities: Communicates clearly in writing and verbally, with thorough documentation that supports teamwork and patient care. Builds positive, compassionate relationships and shares new knowledge through presentations and education. Uses performance-improvement tools to integrate best practices, reduce instrument errors, and improve turnaround times. Leads and develops the sterile processing team, ensuring accurate instrument processing, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization. High School Graduate or equivalent. 3 years' experience in central sterile processing. 2 years supervisory or team leader experience required. Ability to communicate effectively with peers, physicians, staff of other hospital departments, and outside contacts. Must complete 10 hours of continuing education to remain qualified as a Central Sterile Technician on an annual basis. Must be able to stand for all shift hours and be able to pick up, push, pull etc. 35 pounds.
