ANCC Magnet designated UPMC Passavant is currently hiring a Full-Time Supervisor to support the Sterilization Department at the McCandless location. Salary will be determined based upon education and experience.

• Advanced knowledge or Censitrac functions, reporting, data entry and troubleshooting system issues

• Oversees instrument sterilization, tracking, ordering and set optimization
• Remains assessable for troubleshooting across OR and sterile processing
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in central sterile processing.
• 2 years supervisory or team leader experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, physicians, staff of other hospital departments, and outside contacts.
• Must complete 10 hours of continuing education to remain qualified as a Central Sterile Technician on an annual basis.
• Must be able to stand for all shift hours and be able to pick up, push, pull etc. 35 pounds.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
• Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician with Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
