Job Summary: Responsible for supervising the installation and repair of piping systems while ensuring strict compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role combines technical oversight with proactive safety management to deliver efficient, high-quality, and safe project execution. Key Responsibilities: Technical & Supervisory Duties: Oversee installation and repair of piping systems (gas, steam, water, fire protection). Plan, coordinate, and schedule all aspects of piping projects. Interpret blueprints and technical documents to determine materials and equipment. Supervise installation and repair of underground conduits and piping systems. Troubleshoot issues during installation or repair. Ensure proper use of pipes, fittings, and related equipment. Maintain project timelines and quality standards. Provide guidance and direction to pipe fitters and other workers. Work independently and make quick, accurate decisions. Safety Management Duties: Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis for piping projects. Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry safety regulations. Organize safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and corrective actions. Maintain safety documentation and records. Coordinate emergency response plans and drills. Act as liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections or audits. Requirements: Strong knowledge of piping systems, fittings, and relevant codes/regulations. Familiarity with workplace safety standards and compliance requirements. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
