At a glance Work type: Outdoors / Indoors |  9 Day Fortnight  Salary: From $113,019.51 to $124,433.78  + 12% superannuation Employment Type: Permanent Full Time,  Closing date: 9pm, Sunday 5 April, 2026   Exciting leadership opportunity working as the Supervisor Cleansing has arise within the Cleansing & Waste Team.    About the role  Step into a hands‑on leadership role where smooth operations and strong team coordination are your focus. As Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our afternoon cleansing services team & liaising with Morning supervisors to ensure work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll tackle challenges as they arise and take the lead on improvements that strengthen service quality and lift the team engagement & performance. The shift operates from Monday to Friday, encompassing a total of 38 hours per week, with working hours scheduled from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Key Responsibilities:  * You will be expected to guide and support team members, monitor performance, and keep operations aligned with established procedures. * Provide clear communication and messaging to your crew and leadership team.  * Develop and implement cyclic cleansing programs, including litter collection, pavement cleaning, waste bin servicing, amenities cleaning, storm-water pit inspection, weed spraying, and waste management. * Manage daily operations, prioritise and reorganise resource allocation, and ensure compliance with service levels and quality assurance standards. * Develop and manage critical incident response capabilities, including oil spills, hazardous waste, flood, and storm damage, ensuring staff training and equipment readiness. * Oversee recruitment, task allocation, performance management, and personal development of staff, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective operations. * Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, manage contractor relationships, and ensure compliance with service agreements and legal requirements.   What’s on offer We are offering an attractive remuneration from $113,019.51 to $124,433.78  plus 12% superannuation. This position may attract additional shift penalties and allowance in accordance with the Local Government Award 2023.
