The Position: As a Supervisor, Clinical Operations (Posterior) at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. The Role The Supervisor, Clinical Operations (Posterior) will contribute to the fulfillment of Panorama Eyecare’s mission statement by being responsible for the direction, coordination, and day-to-day operational functions of clinical activities at assigned site(s). Responsibilities: In coordination with clinical supervisor team, approves final schedule and staff PTO up to one month in advance for all Posterior technicians. Helps manage daily staffing needs, including, but not limited to, coordinating coverage for callouts, correcting punches, approving timecards, and approving PTO. Maintains accountability in fostering a positive and team-focused environment. Acts as a resource and role model for other technicians. Stocks and cleans clinic as needed, including, but not limited to, maintaining inventory of all medications at designated site and communicating regularly with the Clinical Operations Manager when reordering of product is needed. Expected work distribution is 60% clinical technician and 40% administrative. Maintains organized communication systems to enhance clinic efficiency and collaboration. Ensures consistent, open communication with staff, leadership, and peer departments. Leads clinical team huddles daily or as directed by practice manager. Addresses operational issues with department leaders and implements solutions. Resolves patient concerns in coordination with physicians and staff. Oversees technician use of clinical systems to ensure optimal workflow. Monitors clinic operations and adjusts workflows based on patient volume. Stays informed on local, state, and federal updates affecting clinic operations. Leads hiring efforts for clinical roles and participates in staff terminations. Trains new hires on documentation and billing standards. Addresses staff concerns and manages performance as needed. Conducts performance evaluations and supports staff development. Develops and maintains clinical policies and procedures. Coordinates maintenance and repairs for clinical equipment. Completes additional tasks as assigned to support department goals. Requirements Who You Are Self-motivated, highly organized and demonstrates a strong attention to detail. Ability to be flexible to ever changing priorities with little daily supervision. Strong understanding of business practices and personnel management. Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and insurance guidelines. Strong problem-solving skills, along with the ability to successfully mediate issues for patients and employees. Knowledge of computers and proficiency with computer software (Microsoft Office Suite) – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Education/Certifications/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience as a clinical technician in an Ophthalmology setting. Previous supervisory experience within a healthcare setting, preferred. Physical Demands: Ability to be on feet for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to raise hands and arms to shoulder level without restriction, pain, or discomfort. Ability to perform extended use of phones and computer terminals without pain or discomfort. Additional Job Details: This is a Full-Time Position This position is located at our Precision location, 3151 Precision Dr. Fort Collins, CO 80528.
