YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for experienced Supervisors to join the project team, responsible for coordinating all direct report site employees, plant resources, and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programmes and schedules. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Contributing to a culture of ‘Safety underpins everything we do’
  • Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, the specifications, the EBA and safety and environmental regulations
  • Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project
  • Ensuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work
  • Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards
  • Ensuring accurate timesheets are submitted to the pay office within specified timeframes
  • Managing site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping
  • Ensuring all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work
  • Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • AQF Certificate II in Construction (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 8 years site experience with a minimum1 year experience as a leading hand
  • Managed self and resources to deliver work to $10M
  • Experience in applying principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with scope of works technical criteria (SWTC)
  • Demonstrated commercial experience includes planning up to 4 weeks ahead and monitoring of resources within area of accountability
  • Proven experience in leading a safety culture
  • Excellent leadership, planning & organisation skills
  • High problem solving and conflict management skills
