The Critical Facilities Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the building and infrastructure of AE1 to minimize disruptions to customers and any potential financial impact. They will oversee facilities, ensure adherence to operating procedures, and proactively identify and communicate risks. Based in the Adelaide CBD, the successful candidate will demonstrate proven ability and success across all technical aspects of the role, maintenance planning as well as leadership qualities and experience in people managing. Key responsibilities: Site Management: Ensuring that all onsite duties are conducted in a timely manner following Equinix policies and procedures. Provides immediate supervision to the team employees. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team. Plans/schedules, implements, and records internal and external maintenance tasks within the datacenter. Executes specified routine tasks to meet Operational Objectives Key Results (OKR/KPI). Provides input and guidance towards internal resourcing and budgets. Overall site capacity supervision. Site Capacity Management: Supervising overall site capacity which include collaboration with internal and external teams. Infrastructure Management: Planning, coordinating, and implementing resources to complete maintenance activities within the Data Centre. This includes using the Maximo Assets Management System, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and associated KPIs. Vendor Management: Managing vendors to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards, KPIs, and SLAs. Incident Management: Communicating and coordinating activities and on-site staff during complex or severe customer-impacting incidents. Driving root cause analysis, providing clear direction, and driving incident resolution. Qualification, keys skills and experience: Electrical or related Trade or Degree Qualifications Understanding of relevant codes, compliance regulations, and applicable safe work requirements. Familiar with common documents as it applies to design, documents, schematics, data sheets, and technical information. Relevant experience may include: Building (Facility) Maintenance with experience in asset management, workflow management and planning/scheduling. Working in mission critical environments such as a hospital, hotel, or manufacturing plants, etc. Technical ability to work closely with vendors, site engineers and cross-functional teams. Strong people management/leadership qualities and experience Familiar with any common applications needed to perform daily tasks, including raising of purchase requests, maintenance reporting/asset management, incident/change/problem management, BMS/DCOS systems. Familiarity and strong commitment to upholding all safety standards. Ability to develop, train and support other employees in relevant engineering topics and processes.
