Essential Functions:

• Ensures maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities for efficient production; notifies management of imminent machine issue and failures and service requirements.
• Setups and/or operates machines as needed.
• Coordinates with quality assurance (QA) on product quality and documents.
• Arranges to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained.
• Retrofits existing machines for better function.
• Maintains records of departmental activities, as required.
• Monitors consumables as needed.
• Ensures adherence production output schedule.
• Supervises activities of assigned personnel.
• Directs employees with respect to production volume, cost quality, schedules and delivery dates.
• Sets priorities for employees to meet daily deadlines, develops plans to meet short and long-term objectives.
• Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Recommends the hiring and release of production personnel as required to maintain production schedules.
• Establishes accountabilities and goals used for performance evaluation.
• Coordinates with management and production planner to establish working schedules for the implant machine center.
• Stimulates maximum efficiency and productivity of supervisors and production workers.
• Confers with management to establish working schedules for departments.
• Keeps records of departmental activities, as required.
• Assures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years in a dental background (dental technician or CDT) and at least two (2) years of team leadership or supervisory experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATION:

• Certified Dental Technician a plus.
  Pay Range: $24.00- $31.25p/hr
