WHAT WE NEED Imaging team leader WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Physicians rely on our imaging tech team for proper preparation and documentation of x-rays, MRIs, CT scans and other medical images. These are high-tech, hands-on jobs and they require a supervisor who can make sure everyone is following procedures to provide the most accurate imaging and the best possible patient care. Are you trained in imaging technology procedures? Can you schedule others and oversee their work? Can you accurately document patient information and clinical details? We have just the job for you. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Assists in annual budget preparation and monitors expenditures to ensure achievement of budget projections. - Assists with ACR, HFAP, ISBOH, IDPH and IEMA and other survey readiness. - Maintains quality program and investigates and follows up on special cases or complaints to provide quality care. - Participates in people management activities for direct team members such as conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews. - Researches, develops, and maintains technical policy, exams, and procedure manuals. Implements new exams and procedures to sustain progressive development. - Schedules and delegates work assignments to coworkers according to department needs in an effective and efficient manner. - Provides adequate patient education for procedure and protocol preparation. - Provide communication between hospitals and other departments to keep standards high during interdepartmental business. - Provide direct patient care as necessary; gather information on patients illnesses and medical history to guide the choice of diagnostic procedures for therapy and explain procedures and safety precautions to patients and answer patient questions. - Inspect and operate equipment; make sure machine is set correctly. - Implement training/education of new and current staff. WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED - Radiology experience. - Supervisory and team leadership skills, including coaching, engaging and developing coworkers. - Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNREC, and JCAHO safety codes, regulations, and requirements. - Demonstrate flexibility in staffing and adaptability to changes in patient care practice. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledge of patient safety protocols, infection control, safe radiation practices, and quality control analysis. Qualifications - Required Associate’s Degree - Preferred Bachelor’s Degree - Required Certificate - 3 years Radiology Required - Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - X-Ray Operators (OPCERT) - . in applicable state
