We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our team in Tasman. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing and supervising construction crews to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to specification, and with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
This role offers a unique opportunity to play a vital part in the recovery and rebuild of the Tasman region following recent severe storm events that caused significant damage to local infrastructure. You’ll be helping to restore essential services and strengthen the region for the future.
The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, organising, directing, and controlling day-to-day site operations. You will be actively involved in training and developing new staff, ensuring crews are working efficiently, and fostering a safe, high-performance culture across the team.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organise, direct and monitor project operations, ensuring all tasks and priorities are planned and resourced effectively.
  • Supervise and support crews on site, including providing hands-on guidance and training where required.
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project objectives.
  • Manage site costs, equipment, plant, and materials to minimise wastage and downtime.
  • Liaise with clients, residents, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and positive relationships.Monitor compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements, promoting a culture of Zero Harm.
